Top 10 Faves of the week!

Hello my friends, I can't believe another week has flown by! It's Tuesday again, and I like to share my Top 10 things I've loved from the past week. (this isn't an ad, I'm just sharing things you may love too)

1. My favorite sunscreen. Since I started my Airbrush tanning business 8.5years ago, I've learned so much about the importance of skin protection and sun safety. Naawk Sunscreen is the best I've ever used and it smells amazing! Broad Spectrum SPF 30 and 50 . UVA/UVB Protection. Paraben - Free. Proudly Made in USA. Natural and deeply hydrating, great for overnight use.
Helps prevent against sunburn
Helps prevent skin cancer and pre mature aging of cell breakdown due to sun exposure
Broad Spectrum SPF 50 sun protection
Non - Greasy light - weight application.
Refreshing clean light scent
Won’t fade your tan due to the extra alcohol and perfumes in other SPF lotions
Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and pre mature aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a BROAD SPECTRUM SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protective measures including: limit the time in the sun especially during 10 am 2pm and wear protective clothing, sunglasses and hats. Active Ingredients: Avobanzone 2% sunscreen, Octisalate 2.5% sunscreen, Octocrylene 2% sunscreen, Titanium Dioxcide 1.25% sunscreen.

2. Endless Glow aerosol tanning spray. This stuff has been my favorite for years. My hubby even uses it. We use it every few days all year long to keep that beautiful glow that makes us look and feel so amazing.  If you're local in Vegas, I usually always have some on hand, so you can come grab some from me.

3. Grimaldis Pizza. It's our absolute favorite. I kinda joke that we've become pizza snobs now, because nothing compares, and if we're gonna eat pizza, it needs to be Grimaldis. We always order the same thing... the greek salad, and  the traditional pizza-Pepperoni, sausage, black olives, and Brian's half with bacon.

4. This is Where You Belong: The Art and Science of Loving the Place You Live. I live in Vegas, and I love my home but we moved back to Vegas a few years ago to a new area than where we lived before, and I listened to this book to see if it had any good ideas for me and my family to really plant ourselves and connect to where we are, and it did!! If you are struggling to Love Where You Live, or you just want some good ideas, give this book a listen or read.

5. These cookies are so good! They are light and yummy with bursts of blueberry in each bite! My mom brought them to family dinner and we devoured them! Check them out on her blog.

6. I love a good sitcom and my friend recommended "New Girl" saying it was today's Friends show. Its not quite Friends for us, but we enjoy and episode or 2 every night.

7. This quick and easy yummy recipe that I pinned from The Complete Savorist. My husband served a mission for our church in Korea and loves all the Korean food. I try to find recipes I can make that bring those flavors into our home. This one was a home run!

8. My silk pillowcase. I wanted one for a while because I've read they are great for preventing wrinkles, dry skin and frizzled hair, and morning bed head. I also love to sleep with a cool pillow and usually have to flip it throughout the night, but haven't had to with my silk one.

9. Brian and I started a Veterans Non Profit last year, www.Soldierssix.org and this past week I was finally able to register with amazon Smile. Just by shopping this link, .05% of eligible purchases will be donated to us. The only catch is, you have to shop amazon smile, not regular amazon. Check it out and add Soldiers six as your charity. Thank You!

10. Limited Edition Lilac scent-Mrs. Meyer's hand soap. It's the little things guys. This soap smells like a fresh bouquet and makes me happy every time I wash my hands. I found mine at Target.

If you didn't catch last week... Top 10 Tuesday here ya go! I posted the quickest, yummy french bread recipe I've been making.

Please share with me in the comments or on my IG what you've been loving so I can enjoy it too!

Top 10 Tuesday!

Hello and Happy SUMMER!

I've had a eventful and fun week with my 3 boys all having birthdays, it's been a blast!

I've got a whole random assortment of things in this weeks "Top 10"

1. I wanted some yummy french bread for dinner one Sunday a few months ago, and found this one on pinterest. It was quick, so I decided to try it. YUM! It was so easy and so good! we make it almost every week for Sunday dinner now.

2. My kids have been getting a "summer cold" sniffles, cough, stuffy nose.... These doterra oils are my favorite, especially for kids. I roll them up there spines and on their feet multiple times a day to help with the symptoms.

3. I've been a fan of Dave Ramsey and his daughter Rachel for years now. I just listened to her new book Love Your Life, Not Theirs this week and I reminded me of so many great things to put in to practice. She give great financial advice, and if your looking for financial freedom or even just a few more pointers, it will lead you back to what started it all, The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey

 4. I just love Rachel Hollis. I listened to this podcast of hers this week and it inspired me to try her "5 to Thrive" If you're into self care, give it a listen. If you aren't in to self care yet, then maybe listen so you'll be inspired to begin to put yourself first, so you can be your best for everyone else you serve.

5. Thanks to Ms Rachel Hollis, I've been trying to drink lots of water this past week, and I feel good!

6. More Rachel, her new book Girl, wash your face. I really liked it! Listen to the audio if you can, I love when the author reads their own book, especially when they're good at it, she is!

7. Bought this diffuser at a cute little shop in California last week. It has the perfect light scent of Jasmine and Gardenia which are my faves right now. It's in my bedroom. love.

8. I enjoyed this quick read, Inescapeable by Amy Bartol. It's a YA fiction, that reminded me a bit of Twilight but with angels.

9. I love this reminder. Chase your dreams. Remember you can't please everybody, always.

10. My favorite perfume right now. I have quite a few to choose form everyday that I like, but I always gravitate to this one, Bombshell from victoria's secret.

Let me know what you've been loving this week, and if try any of these,

Tuesday Top 10!

Hello! Here's what I've been loving this week!

1. Orgain Chocolate fudge protein shake My husband and I both LOVE these and we drink one every morning for breakfast. Most of the time, its plenty to hold me over until lunch. Brian drinks one and takes a peanut butter Balance bar or KIND bar. Not only do they taste great and are easy to grab on the go, they have 16 grams of protein and 10 servings of fruits and vegetables! I have found them cheapest at costco.com a 12 pk for $25, but they're out of stock right now.

2. Peanut butter Balance bars- we love these protein bars. They taste great and aren't too sweet. They are hard to find now though, which is pretty typical of anything Brian and I have come to love.

3. YUMMY drink. I don't even really drink soda, but my friend introduced me to the magic of coconut creamer (yes, the coffee creamer) add some to your coke or Dr. Pepper and you get a fun treat thats a little addicting!

4. Native Co. deodorant- I was looking for a deodorant that actually worked well for me and didn't smell like deodorant. Native deodorant popped up on pinterest search and I decided to give it a try. Plus I love supporting small business- bonus! The Eucalyptus and mint is my favorite scent. It is light and fresh and just smells good!

5. Podcast- The Way I Heard It. I've always been a Mike Rowe fan since the early days of "Dirty Jobs" and I came across his podcast which are short stories that he's rewritten to keep you guessing who he's talking about and reveals at the very end. My kids enjoy listening are car trips too!

6. Book series- Michael Vey, Prisoner of cell 25. This teen series by Richard Paul Evans was so entertaining! I loved this whole series! If you get the chance, listen to the audio!!

7. This Churro Chex mix is bad news because you will sit and eat it all in one sitting. Its sooooo good! I found the recipe here from Confessions of a cookbook queen.

8. Hamilton soundtrack. pure talent. We've had it on repeat for over a year now. My whole family loves it. It's history+Rap+hip hop. You get all the feels. Get the clean version if your kids listen with you.

9. Pink Desert boutique- Cutest, modest, clothing and swim boutique. I have found so many cute dresses, shirts and swim this spring from Pink Desert. Also, getting to support a small business and a friend with big dreams!!

10. Maskcara Beauty Milk Moisturizing Creme. It's perfect for all skin types. It's Magic. It it thick and luxurious feeling but doesn't feel heavy once you put it on.

  • What it is: Milk Creme contains 16% natural milk components and moisturizes the driest of skins, leaving you with a youthful glow. Milk Creme is alcohol free and contains allantoin, jojoba oil, and rhodopsin oil, which are all natural and beneficial to the skin.
  • How you use it: Apply Milk Creme nightly after cleansing and toning to your face, neck, and any areas on the body that are dry or dull.We recommend nightly use. For best results, cleanse with our Milk Cleanser and prep your skin for moisture with Milk Toner for healthy, radiant skin.
