Hello my friends, I can't believe another week has flown by! It's Tuesday again, and I like to share my Top 10 things I've loved from the past week. (this isn't an ad, I'm just sharing things you may love too)

1. My favorite sunscreen. Since I started my Airbrush tanning business 8.5years ago, I've learned so much about the importance of skin protection and sun safety. Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and pre mature aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a BROAD SPECTRUM SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protective measures including: limit the time in the sun especially during 10 am – 2pm and wear protective clothing, sunglasses and hats. Active Ingredients: Avobanzone 2% sunscreen, Octisalate 2.5% sunscreen, Octocrylene 2% sunscreen, Titanium Dioxcide 1.25% sunscreen. 

2. Endless Glow aerosol tanning spray. This stuff has been my favorite for years. My hubby even uses it. We use it every few days all year long to keep that beautiful glow that makes us look and feel so amazing.  If you're local in Vegas, I usually always have some on hand, so you can come grab some from me.

3. Grimaldis Pizza. It's our absolute favorite. I kinda joke that we've become pizza snobs now, because nothing compares, and if we're gonna eat pizza, it needs to be Grimaldis. We always order the same thing... the greek salad, and  the traditional pizza-Pepperoni, sausage, black olives, and Brian's half with bacon.

4. This is Where You Belong: The Art and Science of Loving the Place You Live. I live in Vegas, and I love my home but we moved back to Vegas a few years ago to a new area than where we lived before, and I listened to this book to see if it had any good ideas for me and my family to really plant ourselves and connect to where we are, and it did!! If you are struggling to Love Where You Live, or you just want some good ideas, give this book a listen or read.

5. These cookies are so good! They are light and yummy with bursts of blueberry in each bite! My mom brought them to family dinner and we devoured them! Check them out on her blog.

6. I love a good sitcom and my friend recommended "New Girl" saying it was today's Friends show. Its not quite Friends for us, but we enjoy and episode or 2 every night.

7. This quick and easy yummy recipe that I pinned from The Complete Savorist. My husband served a mission for our church in Korea and loves all the Korean food. I try to find recipes I can make that bring those flavors into our home. This one was a home run!

8. My silk pillowcase. I wanted one for a while because I've read they are great for preventing wrinkles, dry skin and frizzled hair, and morning bed head. I also love to sleep with a cool pillow and usually have to flip it throughout the night, but haven't had to with my silk one.

9. Brian and I started a Veterans Non Profit last year, www.Soldierssix.org and this past week I was finally able to register with amazon Smile. 10. Limited Edition Lilac scent-Mrs. Meyer's hand soap. It's the little things guys. This soap smells like a fresh bouquet and makes me happy every time I wash my hands. I found mine at Target.

I love this time of year and getting to airbrush these gorgeous Seniors getting ready to graduate and take on the world!

6 Places You're NOT Applying Sunscreen, But Should

Wait! You're not fully protected yet!

Hi, guys! It's SPRING!! It's getting warm, and the plants are in bloom! I busted out my shorts today, and then applied my Brilliant Glow Sunless tanning lotion. ;/ Since I'm a big advocate for sun protection as a lot of people are, now with the knowledge of all the skin damage/ aging/ wrinkles, as well as skin cancer thats so common now, I wanted to pass along this list of areas that we forget about! These are all areas that need to be protected year round and not just in the summer when you're at the pool.

1. Your Scalp- A hat is the best option, but you can use sunscreen especially on your part.
2. Eyelids and always protect your eyes with sunglasses
3. Lips
4. Ears
5. Hands- including palms and nail beds.
6. Feet

Did I leave any out? I still don't have a favorite scalp sunscreen because everything leaves it pretty greasy, but if you 've ever had a burnt part on your head, you know the oily mess is worth it. I am loving Naawk sunscreen, I've been using it for about 6 years now. I smells so good and is made with such pure ingredients that the shelf life is 2 years instead of just 1. Also, lotions protect so much better than sprays, and lotion helps prolong the life of your airbrush tan when you're getting in and out of the water. Airbrush Tanning FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How long do airbrush tans last?

Airbrush tans can last anywhere from 5-10 days, but on average they last 7 days. The tan resides in your outer layer of skin so the more your skin exfoliates the faster it wears off. Activities such as showering, swimming, exercising and of course exfoliating makes your tan wear off faster. I have products available to extend the life of your tan as well.

2. Do your tans leave you looking orange?

Absolutely not! The Endless Glow solutions work with the amino acids in your skin and give every skin tone a natural looking and beautiful tan.

3. How can I make my tan last longer?

Exfoliating prior to the tan is the main way to make your tan last longer. The more dead skin you shed just before you get spray tanned, the deeper the tan can penetrate. Extra exfoliating a day or two prior can help it last even longer. Keeping your skin moisturized is also extremely important. You should apply lotion twice daily. Other pre and post tanning tips will be advised once you book your tan.

4. What do I wear when getting sprayed?

The tanning solution I use completely washes out of clothing, except silk and linen. So you can dress to your comfort level. Remember the more clothing the more lines you will have. Items such as swimsuits or underwear are most commonly worn when getting spray tanned.  Bring a set of loose fitting clothing for after your appointment to prevent any removal of tan.

5. How long does it take to get my airbrush tan?

Plan on a 30 minute appointment. The actual amount of time it takes to spray an entire body takes about 15 minutes.

6. Do you spray tan people at their own home?

Yes, I am completely mobile. However I charge a $30+ fee for mobile tanning unless you have five or more people also getting a tan. In this case you can receive your tan for free. If under the limit of 5 the pricing will vary depending on the length of travel and how many will be sprayed. We can negotiate terms in those conditions.

7. Will the tan make me stink?

Our Endless Glow Solutions have a very pleasant vanilla scent. I'm often told while spraying that it "smells like a bakery!"

8. How can I get my airbrush tan for free?

I offer free airbrush tans to people who host an open house party. These parties are much simpler than you may think. Unlike typical parties where one may have to entertain a group for hours, these are open houses where guests have appointment times and are usually occupied with being tanned while visiting. Simple refreshment such as water is all that may be needed. A minimum of 5 guests is required. Hosts will also receive a percentage of sales which can be used to obtain free products. 9. How does airbrush spray tanning work?

We use air mixed with our solution for a flawless application. A chemical called DHA absorbs into your skin and a chemical reaction takes place leaving you with a sun kissed tan. For more information about spray tanning please visit Endless Glow.
